The Wendelstedt Umpire School is a program designed to accommodate students from all nationalities and backgrounds. Students traveling internationally are required to complete all required visas independent of the Wendelstedt Umpire School.
The Wendelstedt Umpire School currently permits enrollment of international students who obtain a B-1 (business) or B-2 (tourism) visa.
B-1 visas are primarily for established international umpires attending our course for the purpose of consultation on the development of training programs in their home countries.
B-2 visa holders may attend our course while visiting the United States for "enrollment in a short recreational course of study" for the purpose of learning the craft of umpiring or improving their umpire skills. International attendees are not eligible for placement through the Professional Course; however, they may be eligible for placement through other avenues of third parties, provided proper visas and documentation is obtained.
The Wendelstedt Umpire School does not provide F, M, or J visas at this time.
