Training Facilities

All training, both classroom and field work, will be conducted at the Harry Wendelstedt Jr., Baseball Complex. Because of their proximity to each other, there is no commute between the classroom and fields. The newly constructed field house will be home for classroom training. This facility will also allow students to return during inclement weather for indoor field and plate instruction.

Field work will take place on the Harry Wendelstedt Jr. Fields and Recreation Area. This expansive area that includes nine fields and six cages was designed and laid out by a Major League grounds keeper, and is maintained by a professional staff daily. The school will provide all training and playing equipment including pitching machines, bats, baseballs, gloves, and helmets. Except in the case of personal items like jocks and cups, belts, and shoes, the school also provides students with all of the equipment necessary to complete umpire training. See our What to Bring section for individual umpire equipment required for student attendance.
